‍Responsibilities:

The BCBA/ Clinical Supervisor is responsible for designing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, overseeing implementation of treatment, and providing parent/family consultation. They are responsible for supervising, training, and supporting all team members. They collaborate with other professionals including school personnel and other service providers. They assume all professional responsibilities and prerequisites in performing clinical oversight and training, maintaining credentialing, and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Essential functions:

• Identify and define skill acquisition and behavior reduction targets
• Identify learner’s reinforcers
• Develop individualized, step-by-step treatment goals
• Add goals to the learner’s Rethink account
• Analyze data
• Modify goals as necessary
• Train team members in the implementation of programs- including modeling, observing, and providing feedback
• Generate progress reports
• Ensure learners and team members have and maintain all materials necessary to run their programs
• Conduct functional behavioral and developmental assessments in order to design evidence-based behavior plans
• Submit assessment/reassessment reports to insurance for authorization
• Identify caregiver/family training goals
• Communicate goals, and provide training and support for caregivers/family members
• Collaborate with all team members and other service providers
• Ensure all team members uphold the standards of the organization and maximize resources
• Perform all center based and team based duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• BCBA certification
• Masters in Applied Behavior analysis, special education, or related field
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience providing parent/family consultation
• Experience conducting above specified assessments and submitting insurance reports
• Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and modifying behavior plans

Part-time: 19 hours/week

$90,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the safety of learners from their arrival at session until their departure (as specified in their behavior plan)
• Data collection throughout the sessions
• Data entry in Rethink immediately following sessions
• Implementation of all skill acquisition programs
• Implementation of all behavior reduction programs: blocking/redirecting any noncompliant, aggressive, destructive, compulsive, stereotypical, or self-injurious behaviors
• Render daily session notes
• Material preparation/organization (15 minutes before session and 15 minutes after the session)
• Assist with self-care routines (e.g. , toileting, wiping, brushing teeth)
• Engage with learners while they are accessing reinforcers (pairing)
• Clean up after session/maintenance
• Communicate with team members regarding matters concerning the learner, sometimes after work hours (e.g., txt)
• Respect the learner’s time and materials (e.g., be on time, stay focused on the learner during session, put materials back where they belong)
• Cancel in advance and offer to make up hours (when possible)
• Participate in staff development opportunities /trainings/meetings, sometimes outside of work hours
• Respond to and report emergencies/injuries as per company policies and procedures
• Report any professional, ethical, or moral concerns to proper channels

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate acceptable professional, ethical, and moral standards
• Participate in ongoing PRISM trainings
• Complete the PRISM training modules through Rethink
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with and has access to assistive technology requisite to perform all job responsibilities (e.g., tablet, laptop, iphone/android)
• Ability/willingness to work with diverse populations and ranging levels of functioning
• Accept feedback
• Demonstrate cultural respect/sensitivity
• Maintain confidentiality

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to implement all skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs assigned to that learner.
• Programs may demand the therapist perform activities including (but not limited to): sitting on a small/low chair/floor, standing for extended times, walking, running, lifting, redirecting fine/gross motor programs, redirecting play and exercise routines, hand-over-hand prompting, full physical prompting, modeling appropriate social behaviors, engaging in pretend play, toilet training, wiping, changing diapers, blocking and/or redirecting – noncompliant, aggressive, destructive, and self-injurious behaviors.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License/access to transportation
• Experience working with children or young adults with special needs
• Experience implementing ABA based interventions with learners with ASD (Preferred)
• Experience recording behavior data

Clearances:

• Compliance with Federal, State and NJDOE Personnel Code requirements, including but not limited to Mantoux TB test, Criminal History Motor Vehicle Review, Citizenship Status.

Schedule:

Therapy schedule accommodates the learner and their family’s needs regarding where, when, and how treatment will be provided.

Hours:

Full day and half day positions available with hourly pay. 20-40 hours per week.

Salary:

Commensurate with credentials $24-$30 per hour
