Meet Delaney Russo
I am originally from Teaneck, NJ, with a Master in Applied Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis.
I was originally drawn to helping individuals with autism when I volunteered in a sensory camp and first time being around children with ASD. I fell in love with all the good we did.
My current position at PRISM Learning Center is BCBA/Supervisor. My duties are supervising my therapists and teaching them about ABA along with teaching how to run the programs the way I want them to be run. Ensuring the center runs smoothly for all.
I have been working in the field of ABA since 2017. I have worked in-home, a center, public and private schools, along with a daycare throughout my years in the field
My best positive experience working at PLC is having a one-to-one approach. For the past two years, I have worked in a public school and it is nice getting to practice true ABA.
My advice I would give to newcomers in the profession of assisting individuals with autism is that this job is tough. So make sure you love it and give it your all!!!
My favorite vacation spot is somewhere with a beach and clear water. My favorite hobbies are baking bread and cooking.
