Courtney Crowley

Hello, my name is Courtney, and I am from New York! I have a M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis with focus in Autism/BCBA.

What drew me into helping people with Autism is that I wanted to help others that were not afforded the same privileges I have been provided throughout my life. Currently, I am a BCBA at PRISM Learning Center. My duties involve providing training to staff, supervising staff implementing treatment plans, reviewing progress for programming and goals.

Before my time here at PLC, I worked for respite care and community habilitation. I have previously worked as a therapist in homes, schools, camps, and clinics. Additionally, I worked as a court-appointed special advocate for children.

Here at PLC, I find that I get the most enjoyment from collaborating with like-minded BCBAs.

My advice to others that are new to the profession of working with autistic individuals is to find a skill or activity that you enjoy teaching early on so you don’t feel like you are starting over each time you start with new students.
